Accommodations
Aquilegia is an exceedingly comfortable Bristol 38.8 cruiser with 6'6" headroom and tons of storage with an elegant and comfortable interior. Typical of Ted Hood, the boat has a big roomy open layout creating a wonderful sense of space. The New England workmanship is second to none and the fine craftsmanship is evident everywhere you look. The signature Bristol louvered doors and fine teak joinery is delightful. The entire layout just seems to work perfectly. The Pullman berth forward to port is very comfortable with a five-inch foam mattress and "tufted topper". To starboard are hanging lockers and storage. Just aft to port is a large head with a very nice roomy shower. The main salon is traditional with a centerline drop-leaf table with settees port and starboard. The settees are 6'5" long and an seat six comfortably for dinner. There is cabinetry and stowage outboard of the settees and the settees pull out for a wider berth. The galley next aft to port is u shaped with loads of storage. The nav station adjacent the galley is large and comfortable as a ships office. The quarter berth aft of the nav station makes a great storage area and it is also a nice sea berth. The ambiance below is quite wonderful with very nice woodwork, great lighting and ventilation. The boat's care is evident in the condition of this very nice interior. This Bristol 38.8 is an exceptional vessel with all the amenities and comforts a cruiser could want.

BROKERS COMMENTSIt is a rarity that I come across a 30 year old boat in such great condition. I truly believe this is the nicest Bristol 38.8 that has come on the market in a long time. Take a good look at the pictures and equipment list and I think You will agree.
