Hull & Deck
The MIGRANT has a hand laid up fiberglass hull that was finished with Aristo Blue AWLGRIP in 2003. She has White gelcoat decks with a Light Gray contrasting non-skid surface. The double boot-tops & cove stripe are all Gold-color finished.
MIGRANT had her centerboard pennant & sheave assembly replaced (2004)
The MIGRANT is equipped w/ toe rails that are of the optional BRISTOL YACHTS high-flared teak type. There are teak grab rails and teak brow pieces on the Coach Roof. There is an opening bow anchor well / chain locker on the Foredeck & (2) Cockpit lockers & a Lazarette locker aft.

Accommodations & LayoutMIGRANT has accommodations for (6) in (2) cabins; (2) on the "V" berth forward, (3) in the Main Salon on extending settee berths, and (1) on the Quarterberth aft. The interior is varnished w/ a satin finish for the BRUNZEEL Mahogany interior joinery & w/ a gloss finish for the trim that is solid HONDURAS Mahogany.
MIGRANT has a varnished hand-laid teak & solid ash inlay for the Cabin Sole. The Main Salon has the "fold up" Dinette table w/ a drop leaf. It secures against the port side part of the main transverse bulkhead & that really does open up the Main Salon to good effect. When fully-deployed athwartships, it will easily seat 4-6 comfortably.

Fore Cabin
The large V-Berth is even more generous with a filler piece (board + separate cushion). The filler board is stowed in a overhead rack forward. There is storage under the berth and over & outboard in Mahogany joinery lockers with ventilation provided by cane sections. There are (4) lockers each both to port & starboard. The chain locker can be accessed from the Fore Cabin. There is an upholstered changing seat, hanging locker to starboard, an opening overhead BOMAR hatch, a BOMAR opening port, privacy door & ensuite entrance to the Head.
The exterior frames for the BOMAR deck hatches are painted White.

Head
The private Head is located to port w/ a separate privacy door. There is a manually-operated marine toilet, vanity aft w/ storage under, hot & cold pressure water w/ hand-held shower, linen locker outboard, teak floor grate & a BOMAR opening port. Further ventilation is provided by a stainless steel cowl vent w/ teak Dorade box topsides. The Head has been converted from a raw water intake to a fresh water intake.

Main Salon
The Main Salon is amidships w/ a hanging locker to starboard. A Ship's Clock & Barometer are bulkhead-mounted aft & to port. There are settee berths w/ extensions both port & starboard that extend to form double berths. There are lockers & book racks over both port & starboard settee berths. There is a BRUNZEEL Mahogany bulkhead-mounted dining table w/ folding leaf, solid Mahogany trays & glass holders & a wet storage locker outboard. Light & ventilation are provided by a stainless steel cowl vent w/ a teak Dorade box, an opening overhead BOMAR hatch, (2) BOMAR opening ports & (4) fixed portlights.

Galley
The "L"-shaped galley is aft to starboard. There is a (3) burner stainless steel gimbaled stove with oven. There is a storage locker over and outboard, a top-loading ice-box with NORCOLD 12 VDC refrigeration. There is additional storage in locker above and outboard, knife holder at cabinet, deep double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water and with storage under. Additional ambient lighting is provided by a fixed portlight.

Nav Station
The forward-facing Nav Station is located to port. It shares the seat of the Quarterberth directly aft. Forward is a mount for the Chart Plotter that can be moved from the Cockpit and plugged in at the Nav Station. There is storage under the Chart Table and above & outboard in a locker with a shelf over. An additional fixed portlight provides more interior ambient lighting
Aft Quarterberth
The Quarterberth is located aft to port of the Nav Station. The berth serves as a seat for the forward-facing Nav Station.
Rig, Rigging, Winches & SailsRig & Rigging:
MIGRANT has a White-painted aluminum spar with a single set of tapered spreaders & provision for internal halyards that is stepped on the keel. Her boom is also White-painted aluminum. She has stainless steel 1x19 wire rigging for the main shrouds, the forward & aft lowers, backstay & headstay,
There is a separate Storm Trysail track mounted on the mast.
There is a Factory custom-mounted HARKEN Mainsheet Traveler with 4:1 cross-haul system on the Factory Option stainless steel Traveler Bridge. The Traveler System is deck-mounted just forward of the Companionway hatch. There are inboard & outboard Genoa tracks.

The approximate time on this replacement engine is about 1000 hours. The original Universal 24 HP (3) cylinder FWC engine had some 1650 hours on it at the time of the installation of the new engine in 1993. When the yacht was purchased in the Spring of 2007, the yacht's Hobbs Meter indicated 2150 total engine hours (on this original meter). The reading is now (approx) 2638 hours.
