Vessel Walkthrough
Access to the boat is through the large salon. There is seating both port and starboard with a wet bar and stereo cabinet immediately to starboard. Forward in the salon is a dinette with storage below (starboard) and an L-shaped sofa to port. The galley is down (mid-deck) to port. Down again is the guest stateroom and private head to starboard and the master stateroom with private head all the way forward.
Salon
The SALON features a light-golden teak interior with a soft-satin, custom finish. Aft to port is a large L-shaped leather sofa with a pull-out sleeper for two. A custom teak Hi-Lo table sits in front of the sofa and folds out for more table space. To starboard is a wet bar with s/s sink and Panasonic AM/FM 6-CD changer cassette player below. Just forward is a swivel barrel chair. Furthest forward is the dinette and Sony remote control TV. Other features include a 12,000 BTU, reverse-cycle air conditioning; dark-tinted side and aft cabin windows; blinds, indirect lighting, custom lamps, overhead rod stowage, custom padded valance boards forward, solid teak valance board is on the sides and aft. Custom built-in all electric heater for winter moisture control. All new carpet throughout the boat in February 2002. Glassed in front windhsield with matching grain teak on the interior. There is a huge, well lit stowage area below deck.
Galley
There is a mid-level galley two steps below the main salon. It features a Princess stove and oven, s/s sink with instant hot water dispenser and garbage disposal, Hot Point side-by-side full-size refrigerator and freezer with ice maker and new Panasonic 2000 watt microwave. Counter tops are almond color and flooring is a custom teak parquet, refinished in 2002.
Accommodations
The MASTER STATEROOM is all the way forward with a queen size walkaround berth. Other features include a custom, mirrored anchor locker on the bulkhead; side stowage shelves; custom duvet cover with throw pillows; separate air conditioner with reverse-cycle heating plus separate electric heater for winter moisture control. There are two matching hanging cedar-lined lockers on each side of the berth, an impressive amount of stowage below the berth; two reading lamps; indirect lighting; new hullside wall covering and new carpet. Private master head.
To starboard and aft is the GUEST STATEROOM featuring upper and lower berths with custom duvet covers and assorted throw pillows. The custom mirrored aft bulkhead adds great depth. There are reading lights for each bunk, AC/DC lighting, hanging locker, drawer storage plus a huge stowage area left of the lower berth.
DECK & HULL
The FORE DECK has a glassed up-front windshield with full width seating lounge at the base, three bow hatches, custom aluminum bow rail, fiberglass bow pulpit and Ideal anchor windlass.
Flybridge & Cockpit
COCKPIT: Fiberglass decks,matching tackle center; portside top is a sink and rigging center with inboard stowage. To starboard is a top loading insulated drink box with drawer and open stowage below. Other features include Rybovich style moon shaped coaming padding, six flush mount rod holders, gaff racks, indirect lighting, washdown system and step box. Deluxe fighting chair and Rupp outriggers.
FLYBRIDGE: Portside is a full-length bench seat with stowage below and clear lexan hatches. A second full-length bench seat is forward of the console also with stowage below and clear hatches. Pompanette ladder-back helm chair with cushions and cover. There is a Post fiberglass hard top/half tower with custom aluminum bridge ladder with custom starboard steps. A custom flybridge aft rail with Rupp rod holders, all custom vertical supports to the hard top, fresh 3-sided enclosures. Other features include stowage in the eyebrow, stereo speakers, indirect deck lighting, a custom low profile console with a Merritt wheel, and a custom gauge package with clear lexan tops. Also overhead lighting and quartz spreader lights.

Engine RoomIn 2001, both main engines were totally overhauled, kits, heads and hoses. There is a 5-year old Kohler 8kW generator with 750 hours. Air Seps, spare propellers (computed balanced and stowed aft of the starboard engine). Engines and engine room are Awlgripped, 40 amp constavolt, battery parallel, primary and secondary fuel filters. Halon fire extinguisher system, Hynautic steering, Bennett trim tabs, and Glendinning synchronizers.

BANSKEE offers the prospective purchaser the advantage of already having gone through the usual (and expensive) updates and major maintenance items typical with a Post of this vintage. Well kept and sound structurally and mechanically, BANSKEE is an outstanding value for anyone looking for a vintage Post 46.
