ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: This boat has a classic cruising sailboat cabin configuration with a spacious V-berth forward and a pilot berth aft of the salon. Lots of teak wood inside gives a warm atmosphere while the 9 opening ports (all screened) and hatch assure good ventilation. There is a lot of storage throughout the boat and a hanging closet just aft of the V-berth. The salon has long settees on each side and a fold-down dining table.

GALLEY: The wrap-around galley has a stainless steel sink with hot/cold pressure water and a separate foot pump. A GalleyMaid 2 burner alcohol stove with oven and Norcold refrigeration complete the galley equipment. There is a 35 gallon fresh water tank and a 6 gallon water heater.

HEAD(S) & Showers: The head is equipped with a manual flush marine toilet, a stainless steel sink with hot/cold pressurized water and a shower attachment. The vanity and mirror are as you face aft. The head is ventilated by a solar powered Nicro vent. All original construction plumbing is crack and freeze resistant polybutylene.

ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT: There are Datamarine knot and depth gauges and a Danforth compass. Additionally the boat comes equipped with an Autohelm 3000 autopilot, Raytheon R-20 Radar and a Standard Horizon VHF. Also, below is a JVC CD/AM/FM stereo with speakers.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: This boat has a 30 amp shore power circuit with 115v outlets in the cabin and head. The 12v system is controlled by SeaDog power panels located at the nav station.

SAILS & RIGGING: The 46 foot mast height and mast-head rig give this boat a sail area of 484 square feet (factory spec). The 130% genoa is on Harken roller furling and the main is controlled by a Harken main sheet block and traveler. The primary winches are Lewmar #40 self-tailing. The halyard winches are Lewmar #8s.

MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS: The engine is a 1988 Universal 24 diesel that had a major re-fit done in 2000. The fuel capacity is 27 gallons.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: There is a 25# CQR anchor and rode, fire extinguishers and 4 life jackets.

CANVAS AND OTHER EXTRAS: This boat has a dodger and Edson steering pedestal with leather covered Edson wheel.

COMMENTS: Hurricane Camille is a masthead sloop with a modified full keel and a skeg-hung rudder. It’s a classic cruising sailboat that was designed to go places in style and safety.
