DESCIRPTION The salon features a comfortable L-shaped couch arrangement with an end table w/drawers and a brass lamp on the starboard side,a dining area with a lovely teak dining table with 4 matching chairs on the port side, a large wet bar as well plus an entertainment cabinet with Bose sound system,TV,stereo and storage compartments. All the carpet was replaced and the salon sofa has been reupholstered.
The very large aft owner's stateroom features a large walk around king size bed with a walk-in, full width closet as well as a head with a shower and tub. The master stateroom has the dimensions of a stateroom found on a much larger yacht. There is ample storage throughout, and a vanity on the port as well as a computer/TV desk on the forward bulkhead. This stateroom has a BOSE sound system.
Updates include all the mattresses being replaced with custom innerspring mattresses, new wallpaper was put in the heads and many of the light fixtures were updated.
As you move forward the very complete galley is on the starbord side, it includes a new ASKO dishwasher. On the port side is the guest stateroom with twin beds and plenty of drawer and locker storage as well as a private head with a seperate shower. In the hallway is the location of the Frgidaire washer and dryer. All the way forward is the third stateroom with upper and lower bunks and its own head/shower. This stateroom has an over head hatch which acts as a private entrance for the crew.
One of the really outstanding features of this boat is the lower helm and aft deck. It is a wonderful place to entertain or run the boat. The captain and his guests can cruise in air-conditioned or heated comfort with great visibilty, utilizing this area as a second salon.

DECK Boat has a beautiful enclosed heated & air conditioned (24,000 btu) aft deck area with wing doors. The sides feature hard enclosures and aft is removable. Furniture on the aft deck includes a sofa and teak coffee table, four chairs and carpet. The lower helm has recoverd Pompantte helm and companion seats. The flybridge has ample seating and covers for the seating areas and helm. Behind the seating is an electric davit and a Zodiac ProJet, year 2000 with approximately 100 hours mounted on chocks. The main bridge/deck area also has a lockable bar with a U-Line ice maker (updated).

MAINTENANCE Teak handrails w/covers varnished . Airsep service, bottom paint, waxing of hull and topsides, and flushing of water holding tanks by Eldean Shipyard in Holland, Michigan and recent years Worton Creek Marina on the Chesapeake. The boat has been stored inside a heated storage facility until 2006 during winter layup. |
ENGINE ROOM Access is through door in galley. Once inside everything is clean, neat and has been professionaly maintained its whole life. Recently added was coolant overflow tanks for main engines. There is a forty gallon oil strorage tank outboard to starboard, a built-in oil change pumping system and Air Seps are installed on mains, if needed, the salon floor is removable for additionally engine access. |
ADDITIONAL REMARKS The boat has a Vetus bowthruster with dedicated dual 12 volt AGM batteries and a 24 volt charger. The thruster has dual station controls and puts out 352 lbs. of thrust. System was installed in May of 2004. In March of 1999 the owner installed stainless steel holding tanks with pumpouts and overboard discharge. |

History of this Bertram 58 MYShe was used on Lake Michigan by her first two owners. Moved to Dania FL in 2007 to be sold. I sold her to the current owners in the summer of 2007. The boat was immediately moved up to the north Chesapeake Bay.
Her engine room is very clean and neat with updated hoses, clamps, filters and batteries. She is hauled every winter and bottom painted, zincs, oil changes in the spring.
The 12V71's start immediately, smoke clears quickly and turns up.
Current owner recently purchased Lamb Chop but because of sudden health issues, he has reluctanlty decided to place her back on the market for an immediate sale.
