In the Ocean Alexander 40 Sedan, you get a full length salon on the same level as the cockpit---a layout for more entertaining as well as access to the water. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate beam and a shallow keel for stability and prop protection. The two-stateroom layout  is arranged with the galley in the salon, opposite the lower helm. The interior is completely finished with teak woodwork and trim. Additional features include extended fly-bridge, transom door, teak decks and a teak swim platform.   

Ahead. of its time, today it would be a "fast and economical" trawler with it hull shape and twin 250 Volvo diesel engines. At 7-8 mph it uses 2 gal per hour, at 9-10 mph 2.5 gal per hour.

New in 2015: Alternators, fuel stop solenoids, custom stainless exhaust lifts, batteries, house charger, anchor chain rode, deck wash down, paint bottom.

Full size head has a separate shower and a Vac-U-Flush.
