Partial List of Refit Upgrades
"Miss Amy" is a one-of-a-kind, custom finished classic example of a Chesapeake Bay Deadrise style cruising boat. What makes her unique is her solid fiberglass hull and twin engines. This combination offer lower cost of ownership and easy handling when compared to her wooden, single screw siblings. Below is a partial list of the Re-fit highlights:
- Hull painted with Awlgrip "Ice Blue"
- Decks repainted with Awlgrip "Snow White"
- New Snow White rubrail with Stainless Steel insert
- All through hull fittings removed, replaced as necessary and rebedded
- All fresh water plumbing replaced with Pex hoses and connections
- New 35 gallon water tank
- New Force 10 Marine 6 gallon water heater
- New Jabsco Par Max fresh water pumps and accumulator tank
- Completely rewired (Both AC and DC systems) with tinned copper wiring
- New pilothouse and lower cabin windows
- New deck hatches
- Jabsco quite flush toilet (recently converted to fresh water flush)
- Macerator pump for overboard discharge of holding tank
- Cutlass bearings updated

Accommodations
"Miss Amy" is set up to easily sleep 4 adults. Two in the private forward Master Cabin plus two more on the Dinette, which converts into a sleeper that is 54" wide. The filler cushion for the Dinette/sleeper is conveniently stored in a large compartment beneath the raised dinette floor. The Forward master cabin has an overheat hatch for fresh air and natural light, there are custom cherry cabinets above the master berth, and a 20 inch HDTV mounted to the forward bulkhead.
The Fresh water flushing toilet is located down and to port, This is a Jabsco quite flush toilet, with custom countertop, Custom vanity and vessel style sink and a single lever Delta faucet. There are mirrors on two walls and a medicine cabinet and a larger storage cabinet.
The shower stall is across the hall from the head. With a custom acrylic "rain glass"shower door, and FRP walls, this shower is easy to wipe down and keep clean. A Delta single lever faucet (with wand), plus a towel bar for hanging wet items.
Salon and Galley
The main salon has satin finished cherry paneling, with beautiful Teak Parquet flooring (also in a satin finish). To port is an L-shaped sofa that is covered in Flag Blue ultraleather upholstery. There is a hi-low table with a Corian Top and a polished stainless steel leg.
The L-shape Galley is across from the dinette and aft of the main helm station. Custom Cherry Cabinets and the same Blue Corian counters as the dinette table. Samsung stainless steel microwave oven, Stainless steel sink with Delta single lever faucet, under-counter Refrigerator Freezer (new in 2015).
There is a Sansui 20 inch HDTV Monitor mounted in the corner, easily viewable from the entire pilothouse/salon.
Electrical
Twin 8D Main engine batteries and Battery Charger are new (12/19) and are connected to Perko Switches. Shore power is supplied by a single 30 amp shore power cord. There is an onboard Galvanic Isolator and a Blue Seas Transfer Switch.
