Great layout with two private cabins. Sleeps seven. Forward cabin has a double V-berth to port with upholstered seat aft and to starboard. Large double hanging lockers aft of the seat. Outboard of the berth are shelves port and starboard. A large deck hatch over allows good light and ventilation. An enclosed head with a separate shower stall is aft of the forward cabin and to port with the door opening into the salon. The salon has a large U-shaped settee with table to port and a dinette with table to starboard. The U-shaped settee and the dinette both convert to berths. Excellent storage in open fiddled shelving, cupboards and lockers. TV is set into a cubby on the starboard side of the salon and there is even a fireplace mounted on the forward bulkhead. Aft of the salon to port is a private double quarter berth cabin with nav station. An accordion folding wooden door slides shut for complete privacy for guests. Across from this aft cabin is the L-shaped galley with refrigeration, double S/S sinks and abundant storage in a lazy Susan-style liquor locker, spill-proof wine bottle holder, tilt out dish rack, trash pass through. There are fresh and salt water foot pumps along with pressure hot and cold water systems. 6-foot 4-inch headroom throughout.

This is a one-owner boat; they bought her new and have used her very little since her birth. Virtually all equipment is original and could use updating by a new owner willing to bring her back to Bristol shape. The Ericson 38 provides excellent accommodation for family with its well thought out interior and two private cabins. With her tall rig and comfortable cockpit, she�s a joy to sail - even to weather! A cut above your usual coastal cruiser/club racer, the performance of the 38 will leave you wondering why others don�t sail equally as well.
