Boats have come and gone, and the Island Packet Mark II holds steady in class and overall spacious design concept.  Handles easily featuring a centerboard that lets you anchor in shallow anchorages, and dropped down to work efficiently upwind.  It sips diesel fuel allowing you to cruise at 6 knots and at a half a gallon an hour.  Easy to solo sail with lazy jacks, auto-pilot and color GPS.  The owner has sailed in all conditions and she sails dry and comfortably in lofty seas.  Both sinks have both pressure water and foot pumps when you want to conserve electricity.  Clean, and high attention to engine, sail gear, electronics and complete interior.   At anchor or in the marina it's a cozy little home with sleeping room for four, and a perfect getaway for a couple.  A great boat to make life on the water happen!  A pleasure to show.
