Pelagial was molded to the highest composite standards with an Airex core for excellent weight to strength properties. The deck has a Klegecell core, with solid coring wherever hardware fasteners are located, as is the hull where through hull are located. The lead keel is bolted on with a skeg hung rudder.

AccommodationsPelagial is well layed out for living aboard as well as passaging with a larger crew. She has two private sleeping cabins with ensuite heads and showers - additionally there are P&S pilot berths for sound sleep underway. She is well ventilated with 7 overhead hatches and numerous opening ports. Large SS cowl vents with dorade boxes maintain excellent airflow when buttoned up.
FORWARD GUEST CABIN - Double berth with storage shelved under deckhead. There are drawers beneath berth for clothes storage. Aft to starboard are drawers, hanging locker and shelving. To port is a large head with shower and Vacuflush toilet.
MAIN SALON - There is a drop leaf centerline table with wine storage, flatware drawer and fiddles. Transom seats port and starboard pull out to convert to berths. Above and outboard port and starboard are pilot berths for sound sleep underway.� Behind the seatbacks and under the seats on both sides is an enormous amount of storage.
GALLEY - Next aft to port is the u-shaped galley for comfortable use underway. Double SS sinks are centerline for good drainage. There is a tall pantry unit outboard for stores and a hinged counter extension increases counterspace next to the sinks. Outboard aft are the fridge and freezer - cooled with Frigoboat 12V keel cooled unit. Spillover system to fridge. Boxes are 7.5 cu.ft. and 6.0 cu.ft. repectively.� The cooker is a Mariner gimballed 4 burner propane unit with oven. There is ample storage for bowls, plates, glasses, and cookware. All in all a proper galley arrangement.
NAVIGATION DESK - Opposite the galley to starboard is a full size nav desk (office) with Brooks & Gatehouse Hercules sailing instruments, E series Raymarine chartplotter/radar, ICOM VHF radio, SEA SSB, and digital barograph. The main electrical panel is outboard and there is drawer storage under the desk and nav seat.
PASSAGE AFT - To starboard under the cockpit is a large hanging wet locker, chart stowage and a work/tool bench just aft. The engine space is directly under the cockpit with excellent accessibility. Centerline is the Perkins 6-234 main engine and outboard to port is the Westerbeke 7.7 Kw generator. Filters and� pumps are very accessible.
AFT OWNERS CABIN - To port is an offset queen size berth with drawers beneath and bookshelf aft. Opposite is a full bureau unit for clothes storage. Just forward of the berth is the aft head with sink vanity, H&C shower and Vacuflush toilet.Ã?Â

ElectricalPelagial is wired with both 12VDC and 110VAC electrical circuits. There are separate battery systems for house, engine start and generator start.

Sails and RiggingPelagial is a rare ketch rigged Hinckley that is considered an optimum offshore sailplan. Going to weather with jib and mizzen in blow is a great rig. All electric furling with manual overrides in conjunction with electric sheet winches make her a snap for a couple to sail.
