Art Defever would be very pleased with the care and maintenance of his popular and classic Defever 44 design. New fuel tanks, new shafts with dripless packing’s and transmission saver couplings.   Low hour Lehman naturally aspirated engines with new engine coolers, hoses, current heat exchanger maintenance, new digital tachometers and Racor model 900 fuel filters.  All three engines have Speed Seal covers on the raw water pumps for quick impeller replacement.  The bronze sea chest has had its valves and seawater hoses serviced.  AC is provided by a 7.5KW Yanmar generator with a Trojan battery bank in new cases, supported by a Heart Freedom 3KW charger/inverter and an Amptech 125 amp hour high output alternator.  The salon is heated by a Sig diesel heater, the galley and heads have Corian counters.  The galley has the quality Canadian Force 10 stove with oven.  Walker Bay Genesis tender with a Yamaha 4 stroke outboard, new front windows in the flybrige enclosure and new bottom paint.  This vessel is on the hard and ready for survey.
