Accommodations
Accommodations for up to seven in a beautifully crafted and finished full varnished teak interior with a varnished teak & holly sole. Headroom is 6'-4" in the salon and aft cabin, slightly less forward. All berths & settees are 6'-6".
Superb natural light and ventilation with four hatches, six opening ports and two dorados and four large fixed ports. Season-extending warmth is provided via an Espar diesel cabin heat system. Artificial light is provided by numerous overhead dome-style lamps with swivel-style reading lamps at each berth and settee.
Starting forward is the private Forward Stateroom, featuring a V-berth with filler, below which there is bin-type storage, and above which the hull is lined with varnished teak ceilings and a full-length teak storage shelf. Access to the anchor locker is at the forward bulkhead, while aft and to port there is a bureau with drawers and locker outboard; opposite to starboard is a hanging locker.
Next aft, the Main Salon features a straight settee to starboard and L-settee to port. Behind the seatbacks there is storage in lockers and shelves above the settees. Dining is from a drop-leaf pedestal table on centerline that also houses additional storage. A generous hanging locker is aft of the port settee adjacent to the forward companionway ladder.
Continuing aft and to port is the Enclosed Head, which is a walk-thru arrangement featuring an ensuite shower draining to a separate sump with pump. The vanity with stainless steel sink and H&C pressure water is aft and outboard and the manual W.C. is forward and outboard.
Opposite the head area (to port) and the walk-thru Galley to starboard. This is a great sea-going galley -- very workable even in poor sea conditions (the listing broker has prepared meals on a sistership in 30 kt. of wind). Inboard is dish and silverware shelving above counter space with deep double basin stainless steel sinks with H&C pressure freshwater and manual freshwater and slat water pumps and pull-out trash receptacle. Opposite is additional counter space and storage in a number of lockers and set of drawers, the three-burner Hiller Range stainless steel gimbaled propane stove with oven and refrigeration and freezer boxes (new system in 2010).
Furthest aft is the private Aft Stateroom with separate companionway to the cockpit. To starboard is a single berth with hanging locker forward and to port is a double berth with large bureaus and locker forward, both with bin-type storage under, and with teak ceilings above along with storage shelves. The Nav. Station is on c/l aft and has a swing-out navigator's stool.
