MIA - MAIN DECK WALK-THROUGH
The entire Main Deck of MIA has new Wood Floors installed, giving a clean modern, open look. The three large windows on each side of the Main Salon provide lots of natural light - which is very comfortable while cruising.
The large open Aft Deck leads down to the starboard-side stairway to the Cockpit.
Aft Deck access to the Main Salon is through a large, full height sliding glass door, in the center of a full-width and height glass bulkhead, giving great views of the cockpit.
There are two seating areas in the Salon, on the port side aft and forward end, with a small glass desk on the forward starboard end of the Salon. A 72" AQUOS - "Quattron" 3-D TV centers the forward bulkhead.
A recently re-done Powder Room is off the Starboard walkway, as you leave the Main Salon, just opposite of the Starboard Entrance Door, with the wood flooring continuing...
Proceeding forward, and down two steps from the Powder Room, is the large, open "Country Kitchen, with a white marble island, with storage under on the galley side and two two chairs on the Dinette side.
New appliances have been installed in the Galley, including a new LG Refrigerator-Freezer & a LG stove/oven, with a black ceramic oven top.
At the forward end of the Country Kitchen is the large L-Shaped Dinette, with a white marble table and seating for ten.
At the forward, starboard corner of the Country Kitchen, is the curved stairway to the Crew's Quarters and Engine Room.
LOWER ACCOMODATIONSMASTER STATEROOM:
From the wide u-shaped stairway on the starboard side of the Main Salon, you descend to the Accommodations Foyer, flanked by three (3) storage and Linen closets.
Turning right, at the bottom of the stairs,a you walk into the MASTER STATEROOM. The King-Size berth dominates the space, with a backdrop of natural white stone. Mahogany Dressers are built-in port and starboard, with white marble tops.
On either side of the Master Berth are doors to the "His & Hers" heads, with 5-foot square walk-in shower, with floor-to-ceiling mirror on the aft shower bulkhead, and natural stone on the forward side.
Both vanities are L-Shaped, mahogany wood bases and white marble tops.
There are two (2) large cedar-lined closets are the starboard side, and one (1) large walk-in closet on the port side, which also has a built-in Safe.
A 52" Flat-Screen TV hangs on the aft Master Stateroom bulkhead.
VIP STATEROOM:
The aft VIP STATEROOM is just a few steps down the carpeted hallway, and is also a full-width, King-Size Stateroom, with individual Heads the port and starboard sides of the forward end of the stateroom. Each VIP bath has a marble-top, mahogany base vanity, with a head and a shower.
The starboard side of the VIP S/R, has a dresser and a 6'6" settee, which can serve as an extra berth for a child. The port side of the stateroom has a full-length dresser with twelve (12) drawers. There are also drawers under the king-size berth in the VIP (& Master S/R).
There is a cedar-lined closet on either side of the aft bulkhead, flanking the VIP berth. On the center-line, between the VIP closets, there is access to the Steering assembly (see detail in the "Pictures" section of the listing).
RAISED PILOT HOUSE & FLY BRIDGE/BOAT DECKThe RAISED PILOT HOUSE is at the center of the Main Deck, and is designed to be approximately above the LCG (Longitudinal Center of Gravity), and just four steps above the level of the Main Deck, just as you enter either of the side entrance doors - allowing for quick access for the Captain to get to the exterior side decks, for docking and/or line-handling.
There is a comfortable Bench Seat, with chart drawers under, and a full-array of Electronics, at this "Lower Helm Station."
The Fly Bridge door is on the port side of the Pilot House, with a comfortable stairway leading to the large open Fly Bridge and Boat Deck.
At the center of the forward Fly Bridge console is the second or "Upper Helm," with another array of Electronics, under a teak and plexiglass cover. There are two (2) teak and white cushion custom Helm Chairs, looking forward over the curved, "venturi-style" aluminum framed plexiglass windscreen.
A large white Bimini Top covers the forward half of the Flybridge, with built-in aluminum seating surrounding the large Mast Island,with storage and a u-line refrigerator/freezer under. The seating has cushions, with a dacron cover over.
The Aft end of the Boat Deck has had the two (2) davits removed, but the bases remain, allowing room for the Semi-Circular three (3) piece sectional (red cushions and brown, wood wicker bases). There are two (2) chaise lounges, at the very aft end of the Boat Deck.
CREWS' QUARTERS & ENGINE ROOMThe CREWS' QUARTERS is reached by the curved stairway at the forward, starboard side of the "Country Kitchen."
To the right (or forward), is a large Vee-Berth Crew Stateroom, with storage under the berths. The Crews' Head is on the Port side, just aft of the Vee-Berth S/R.
There is another Crew berth on the Port side, just before the Engine Room Door. Opposite, on the Starboard side is the Captain's S/R, with a double berth, and storage under.
The ENGINE ROOM is full-height, allowing easy access for service to the Main Engines (12-V-71 TI's) and twin Generators. The Generators were just rebuilt with 60 Hours on the Port Gen set, and 80 hours on the starboard.
EXTERIOR: FORWARD DECK, COCKPIT, SWIM PLATFORM, & LAZARETTEThe FORWARD DECK is an Aluminum Deck, painted with non-skid, "Awl-Grip" Epoxy paint, and extends from the Main Salon Cabin-Break, at the side entrance doors to the Bow.
At the Bow is the "Plath" Windlass, with the "Forfjord" Anchor at the center of the ship's stem., protected by a large Stainless Steel Anchor Plate..
Twin Deck Boxes are welded into the side of the bulkwarks and are 6'6" long, covered by cushions and covers. A center-line seat is carved into the forward end of the forward cabin, with matching cushions and covers, making for a seating area for up to eight (8) guests.
The COCKPIT is accessed easily, from both the Port and Starboard circular stairs from the AFT DECK. Both the AFT DECK and the COCKPIT are aluminum, covered in Teak.
The large (5') built-in SWIM PLATFORM extends down slightly with three (3) steps on either side to the very aft end of the Yacht.
The LAZARETTE is accessed through a watertight aluminum door, on the center-line of the transom, and has a large storage space, with room for a second set of commercial Washer and Dryer,
