Accommodations
Starting at the bow is a V berth with a small hanging locker. Water tanks located below the berth. Overhead is an opening hatch for ventilation and exterior access. Next aft is the head/shower to port and a cedar lined hanging locker to starboard followed by a spacious cabin with 6 ft 3 inches of headroom. Settee berths are on either side with a folding table set just off center on the port side. There is deep storage space under the seats and behind the seat backs. Above the seats are bookshelves and lockers. There are stainless steel grab rails on either side of the cabin top and a large opening hatch overhead for ventilation. The cabin sole is teak. A propane cabin heater keeps things toasty and warm.
Next aft is the galley to port and the navigation area to starboard. The nav table has storage below it for charts and groceries. Aft of the navigation station is quarter berth. The engine compartment and companionway ladder to the cockpit are offset to starboard. The galley to port has been designed with working at sea in mind. The double sink is close to the centerline and the gimballed propane stove outboard. The refrigerated locker is on the port side in the galley. The surrounding space is lined with various cabinets and drawers for storing cooking utensils and food stores. If you have ever cooked at sea you will appreciate the arrangement.
Next aft up the companionway is the cockpit. The cockpit forward part is covered by a dodger. Under the dodger forward on the cabin top are sail and halyard controls. Navigation instruments are mounted on the bulkhead below. Surrounding the cockpit are several lockers for storage of gear and providing access to tanks and batteries. Further aft are spare anchor and propane lockers. The boat has tiller steering and is equipped for a Tillermaster type autopilot.
Everywhere you look you will see a boat that has been loved by knowledgeable owners who cared about a seaworthy boat.
