The Baltic 39 is a medium displacement performance design aiming at general all-round sailing with a slightly greater emphasis on upwind characteristics than earlier Baltic Yachts models. The design incorporates a high ballast ration and a high aspect ratio fin keel. The accommodation layout of the Baltic 39 is generous for a boat of this size incorporating a full owner's cabin aft with complete privacy.

The Baltic 39 was one of the first serial production yachts designed and performance evaluated using computer programs. Full VPP studies were executed resulting in both polar plots and performance in numbers. In addition to producing a good basis for design optimizations, the result from the computer studies also gave racing clients polars and performance numbers representing valuable targets for racing.

A beautiful and very seaworthy boat built to a high standard of construction and excellent sailing characteristics. This Baltic 39, designed by C&C Yachts, is a benchmark of performance cruising. She is a no compromise boat with excellent build quality that is equally at home on the club racing circuit, on the open seas, or coastal cruising.
Built in Finland, the Baltic boatyard began production in the early 1970's and was started when employees from Nautor Swan joined forces to build exceptional racing/cruising yachts. Ferenc Mate featured Baltic Yachts in his 1983 book World's Best Sailboats. The boat was designed to create a top quality, comfortable cruising boat, and one that was also lighter than most at the time, not only to increase performance but also to make sailing easier, more enjoyable.

Repowered in 2017 with a Beta 35hp diesel engine, hull painted in 2018 and teak decks replaced in 2005 by Teakdecking Systems, she's been well maintained. Embarcadero has a deep draft fin keel for high pointing ability, 2 staterooms, one head, with sleeping for up to 9. Beautiful teak joinery throughout shows a great level of attention to detail.
