ââ?¬Å?Sleepy Hallowââ?¬ï¿½ has been on the local sailing scene racing and cruising, since she first arrived in Western Michigan in 1979. She was originally named "Whitecap" Like others of her time, she has a large fore triangle and a smaller mainsail. This allows the boat to compete going to weather. With the roller furling, she can easily be handled by 2 people. There are large Harken primaries and smaller secondary winches in the cockpit. Trimming the main is easy with the multiple block system which goes to the traveler on the bridge deck. She has a tapered aluminum mast, with double spreaders, internal halyards and SS rod rigging. She has been fresh water sailed since new.
