There is a lot to write about this Bruce King design. Words like seakindly, comfortable and secure are just some of them. We think this Ericson 27 would make a fine boat for a young family looking to get a "home on the water" at the inexpensive end of the spectrum.

She has the very reliable Universal Atomic Four gas engine that has proven herself over many years. The fuel tank has been cleaned in 2019. She has roller furling and wheel steering with the traveler right in front of the helm for single handed sailing. The bottom was epoxy barrier coated in 2008.

This boat has a small delamination of the port side deck, at the amidship stanchion. There is a damaged hand rail on the port side. There is a one foot diameter cosmetic abrasion on the starboard side amidships, that has been painted over. The sails are brand new and are reported to have not been used yet! Go for it!
