Additional InformationThis unique flushdeck pilothouse Westsail has a spacious and beautiful teak and mahogany interior, a roomy non-skid deck area and cockpit coamings which allow for a larger dodger. All new sails, new electrical panel and wiring plus over-sized standing rigging and running rigging were added in'99 when she was completely refurbished before a one-season cruise to Mexico. The boat is in excellent conditon top to bottom and is a boat anyone would be proud to own.
All owner's personal effects are excluded from the sale of the vessel.
Her History:
Originally bought from the factory in 1975, TAINA's first owner completed the deck, house, rigging, machinery and basic structural components of the interior with meticulous care and structural integrity. The boat was launched in 1979. The second owner completed the interior details including the custom cabinetry and wiring. Much of the interior woodwork was done by Sal Garcia, foreman at Pacific Seacraft Corporation. The current owners bought her in 1993. They have upgraded the electronics, sails and rigging (including new Profurl furling and lazy jacks) and added a holding tank for the head, extra water tanks and anchor windlass.
