A classic Hinckley design, regularly updated. Deck replaced (at the Hinckley factory) with a fiberglass deck from a Pilot 35; diesel engine installed in the 80's; regular upgrades annually. Boat has been regularly upgraded and equipped with the goal of long term cruising in comfort. Please call ahead to arrange to see this boat.

General description

SQUALLY a Hinckley South Wester (as they were called in those days) a Carvel planked wood hull with a wood deck, was built in 1947
In 1963 a fiberglass deck from a Hinckley Pilot 35 was installed at the Hinckley Factory to replace the old wood deck.
The Yanmar diesel engine was installed in the 1980's and works well
Equipment has been regularly updaded with good quality new materials with a goal of long term cruising comfort. Lifelines, stainless steel stanchions and stainless steel running rigging have all been replaced.
