32' Catalina 320 Cruising Sailboat

ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: This popular and proven Catalina design features a two berth cabin layout with private v-berth in the bow and additional private berth aft. The salon area features the comfortable Catalina interior cushion selection. Throughout the cabin is excellent ventilation with many opening ports that also give a very bright atmosphere with lots of natural light. Cabin window curtains for privacy and screens for each hatch are included. A spacious and well laid out main salon has great seating around the starboard side dining table which drops to become additional berthing if need be. A settee on the port side provides seating for two and doubles for the nav station seat. The main focal point below decks is the spacious main salon and generous u-shaped galley. It all compliments a comfortable and very functional spacious cockpit layout for this cruiser. The walk thru transom equipped with a wide folding ladder makes swimming and dinghy access a breeze.

GALLEY: The galley is located to port and is home to a stainless steel sink, Corian countertops, cabinet storage, pressure hot and cold water, large top loading Adler Barbour refrigeration, built in waste bin, Hillerange LPG propane double burner stove with oven and enough storage space for gourmet cooking.

HEAD(S): The Catalina 320 features a single wet-head design with hot and cold pressure shower/faucet combination. The 20 gallon holding tank and 6 gallon hot water heater are other great features. The shower drain also has separate 12v shower sump pump for grey water.

ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT: At the helm instruments consist of a Raymarine ST-60 knot and depth meter, Ritchie binnacle compass, Raymarine ST-60 wind instrument, VHF radio and Raymarine ST-4000 wheel mounted autopilot. The navigation station is located in the salon area to port with access to the complete electronics panel, JVC stereo/cassette with five CD changer and BOSE speakers.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: 12-volt DC and 110 AC panel with breakers, two 4D house batteries located under the starboard settee provide the DC while dockside power with shore power cord, a Pro Mariner 30-3 battery charger and multiple 110 cabin outlets complete the system.

SAILS & RIGGING: This 320 has the cruiser in mind with the traditional full batten mainsail with Dutchman flaking system and 135% genoa on a Schaeffer furler. “Dolce Far Niente” also comes with a spinnaker halyard. The genoa has a blue UV cover and mainsail cover that match the bimini and pedestal cover. All lines led aft to the cockpit for easy single handing with deck mounted jib tracks led aft to winches in cockpit combing. In addition to the two primary/jib winches, two secondary Lewmar self-tailing winches for all the controls are fed by two sets of line stoppers, the mainsheet traveler is mounted to the cabin top with easily accessible control lines to help the helmsman and crew when sailing shorthanded.

MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS: A powerful inboard 27hp Westerbeke diesel engine and 20 gallon fuel tank. A 24 gallon freshwater tank is forward under the v-berth with an additional 20 gallons aft.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: 22 lb. Bruce anchor with chain and line, life jackets and throwable included, two fire extinguishers. Additional equipment includes an automatic bilge pump, manual backup bilge pump, and emergency tiller.

CANVAS AND OTHER MISC: Navy blue dodger, bimini and connector combine to provide protection and coverage from the sun and elements while under sail or at the dock. Also included is a full set of cockpit cushions, sternrail seat cushions, screens for all opening ports as well as the companionway and propane barbecue grill. “Dolce Far Niente” has been properly maintained and well cared for and this is evident in the overall condition of the yacht which includes an Awlgrip hull that was new in 2003.
