36' Hunter 36 Cruising Sailboat

ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: This proven Hunter design features a two berth cabin layout with private v-berth in the bow, a large salon and galley to starboard, head aft to port and a generous private aft berth with full door closure and lots of storage. The salon area features the current Hunter factory blue interior cushion selection. A spacious and well laid out main salon has great seating around the table and the settee also doubles for the nav station seat. The main focal point below decks is the salon and roomy galley, it all compliments a comfortable and very functional cockpit layout for a 36 foot boat.

GALLEY: Galley to starboard is home to a stainless steel sink, vast Corian countertops, pressurized hot and cold water, large front loading refrigeration, built in waste bin, 75 gallon freshwater tank, microwave, double burner stove with oven and enough storage space for some great weekend cooking.

HEAD(S): The Hunter 36 features a single wet-head design with hot and cold pressure shower/faucet combination. The 30 gallon holding tank and 6 gallon hot water heater are other great features. There is also a wet locker in the head area that would be a great place to hang those wet items.

ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT: At the helm are a pair of Raymarine ST-60 knot and depth meters, VHF remote mic and Raymarine C-80 Chartplotter/GPS. The navigation station is located in the salon area to port with access to the electronics panel, VHF radio, AM/FM CD player. This boat also has a powered Dantenna antenna, flat screen TV, cockpit/salon speakers, tank gauges, volt meter and Hella Turbo cabin fans throughout. Every detail was well thought out and professionally installed.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: 12-volt DC and 110 AC controls, two house batteries and starting battery located in deep cockpit locker, automatic bilge pump, dockside power with shore power cord, and a battery charger complete the electronics.

SAILS & RIGGING: This 36 has the cruiser in mind with the in-mast furling sail and 110% furling jib. The sails have blue UV covers to match the bimini. All lines are led aft to the cockpit for easy single handing and feature helm sheeting package with winches aft and the lower jib tracks. Two Lewmar self-tailing cabin top winches, two Lewmar aft winches in cockpit combing for headsail trim, two sets of line stoppers, mainsheet traveler mounted to the Hunter factory arch help the helmsman and crew… even shorthanded. Custom North Sails bimini and dodger in navy blue installed to the Hunter arch provide you cover from the elements.

MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS: A powerful inboard diesel Yanmar boasting 30 HP helps get this boat moving and 38 gallon fuel tank to keep you going. Upgraded Flexi-fold folding propeller and Shaft-Shark line cutter is also installed.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Plow anchor with chain and line, life jackets and throwable device, fire extinguisher and stainless steel lifelines will be onboard for your adventures. Automatic fire suppression system for engine compartment is standard on all Hunter 36 models and is a welcome safety feature. For more room in the cockpit there is also a Lewmar folding leather wrapped steering wheel.
