“Dream Catcher” is a great example of the popular Catalina 36 mkII that has been a proven boat for Bay cruising and coastal sailing. The wide open cockpit with integrated swim platform provide for great entertaining while at anchor. ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT:

“Dream Catcher” features an interior with an aft cabin with a large athwartships double berth, hanging locker and bureau. The forward owner’s cabin is comfortable and well ventilated and has a private entrance to the head. The main cabin features seating for two and a game table to starboard and a traditional dining table to port with seating for four. Both convert to sleeping berths. The Catalina 36 mkII has plenty of storage throughout.

GALLEY:

The galley is a functional U-shape with composite counter tops, large refrigerator, two burner propane stove w/oven and a microwave oven. The double stainless-steel sinks are located near the boat’s centerline for proper drainage underway and have hot/cold pressurized water. The fresh water supply is from a 78 gallon water tank.

HEAD(S) & Showers:

The head features a Jabsco manual flush toilet, 15 gallon holding tank, a vanity with mirror and sink with hot/cold pressure water and shower. All the hoses for the Head plumbing were replaced in 2001.

ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT:

The extensive electronics on “Dream Catcher” include Raymarine ST50 depth gage, ST60 knot and wind, ST4000 autopilot, VHF radio, AM/FM CD stereo system with both interior and cockpit speakers.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:

AC power is supplied through 30 amp shore power and an internal inverter. DC power is supplied via an upgraded house battery bank with a separate engine starting battery.

SAILS & RIGGING:

This Catalina 36 mkII has the tall rig option. The sail inventory consists of a full-batten mainsail with a Dutchman flaking system and a roller furling genoa.

MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS:

Mechanical propulsion is supplied via a Universal 30 HP diesel engine to a three blade Max-Prop. Additionally, this boat is equipped with a Maxwell electric anchor windlass.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT:

“Dream Catcher” comes with two anchors, chain and rode, a Lifesling MOB recovery system, six PFD’s and the required USCG safety equipment.

CANVAS AND OTHER EXTRAS:

Custom made dodger, bimini and connector panel provide ample sun protection to the cockpit area.
