Mechanical Equipment Engine and transmission had complete "out of boat" rebuild in '99 and are continuously maintained to operate in like new condition. With a remote oilfilter system and Racor 500 FG fuel filtratioin system the Perkins diesel pushes the boat along at 8 kts. via a 22" MAXPROP feathering 3 blade prop when the wind dies. With a Newport Marine fuel level monitoring system and Tankwatch holding tank monitors, the guess work is over. |
Comments While designed for the charter trade,"LUNA" was spared the "bareboat" charter program in favor of a private, captain-maintained ownership and her care and condition is evident! With her fine inventory of electronics, safety gear, and cruising gear, she is absolutely a "sailaway" in every respect. |
