Exterior Features
General:
The Merry Fisher 755 has a full walk-around deck, with doors on both Port and Starboard, and aft, to enter inside. This makes it very easy for people to move around, and docking and fishing activities. There are high sides and railings to make it safe to walk around even in rougher seas.
Aft, the Cockpit is very spacious and can be configured in many different ways based on your activities. For example, for cruising with guests, there is a bench seat in front of the engine that screws easily and has a pad. You can install a large table in stamoid plastic with a metal base. The owners also added a flip-up bench to Port with pad, and there's a third single seat to starboard, by the swim step. Lastly, there is a pull-out sun/rain shade that comes out from the roof.
For fishing, however, you can remove the bench seat, pull down the seat to Port, and clear the space. There's a livewell to Port, aft, and storage for fish in the floor to Starboard. There's also a locker under the floor for gear. The owners added pads for downriggers, with DC power outlets, and there are rod holders to Port and Starboard. (A rod holder for 3 fishing poles is directly inside the cabin, to Port, or more gear can be stowed in the forward cabin.)
When fishing, the pull-out shade doesn't hang out so far that poles can't be used.
