This comfortable and capable centerboard sloop was designed by Ted Hood, and built by the Wauquiez yard in Lille, France.�  � Ted Hood is legendary for his Americas Cup win and his iconic yacht designs built primarily by Hinckley, Bristol, and Little Harbor Yachts during that time.�  Wauquiez has a reputation for a very high level of build quality during the era of the� Hood 38 and Pretorien 35.� 

Her interior feels large and modern for a 38' cruiser of this era, and her hull and rig design give her excellent sailing characteristics.�  � The keel design offers plenty of flexibility with her centerboard up (4'6") to enter anchorages with skinny water.�  With her board down (10'8"), one can enjoy the spirited performance that only a deep draft cruiser allows.�
