Chain locker in bow followed by spacious V-berth cabin with shelves outboard on both sides followed by small and large hanging lockers to starboard with shelves and cabinet over. Opposite to port is the enclosed head and shower adapter for sink. Head area has two large cabinets and vanity mirror, oak countertops with S/S sink, opening porthole and opening hatch for ventilation. Main salon has bulkhead mirrors which add to the spacious feel and folding double-leaf table. Opposite facing settees with storage behind backrests and a bookshelf to starboard. Port side has built-in ventilated cabinets and three drawers. Two brass hanging lanterns add to the ambiance. An overhead hatch provides light and ventilation. Galley is located aft to starboard and nav station is opposite to port with storage cabinets under and electronics mounted over shelf. Aft following chart table is large quarterberth. Hawks Bay's current owner is only her second owner. This boat has been babied and well-cared for all of its life and has never been used for living aboard. She's a comfortable and spacious boat, ready to cruise to Catalina or Mexico. She has a very reliable Perkins 4-108 diesel that has plenty of horsepower to push the boat at hull speed. She sails comfortably at 7-8 knots of boat speed.
