Sleeps 7 in two cabins.

Fwd cabin provides a 6'7" double berth offset to port with a small cushioned seat to stbd. Overhead opening hatch provides natural light and ventilation, and overhead and bulkhead mounted lights illuminate the cabin at night. Storage is in bins below the berth, the seat to stbd, and in a bin below the night stand to stbd. Additional storage is in 3 drawers under the berth, 2 drawers to stbd, and a cabinet and hanging locker with louvered doors to stbd.

Aft to port is the fully enclosed head with 5'9" headroom. Teak door can be opened against the fwd cabin bulkheads to enclose the fwd cabin for privacy. Single basin sink with hot and cold pressure fresh water, faucet pulls out to create a shower. Add a curtain to the track above to keep the head from getting wet. Fwd bulkhead is mirrored, as are slider doors to the cabinet outboard of the sink. Additional storage is behind louvered cabinet doors behind the salt water manual head and under the sink. An opening port provides light and ventilation.

The main salon offers 6'1" headroom, a 6'3" settee to port and a 5'9" settee to stbd. A pilot berth to port folds down to sleep a 3rd crew member in this cabin. When folded up, the pilot berth acts as a fiddle to aid in storage. Bulkhead mounted teak table folds down to reveal a magazine rack behind. Additional leaf folds out for meal time. Overhead opening hatch and 4 opening cabin ports provide natural light and ventilation. 2 cabin lights and a fan are mounted to the port bulkheads and a single cabin light is mounted to the fwd bulkhead to stbd. 2 additional lights are mounted overhead above the settees. Storage is behind the settee seatbacks to port and stbd, on fiddled shelves and in louvered cabinet doors above the stbd settee, and behind the pilot berth to port.

Aft to port is the nav station and 6' long quarter berth. A cabin port inboard of the berth opens to the cockpit, allowing communication between the crew in addition to light and ventilation. A fiddled shelf along the hullside and bins below the berth provide storage. Overhead lights are mounted above both the berth and the nav station. Additional storage is at the nav station in 4 drawers and behind a louvered cabinet door above the flip-up desk. Berth extends to create a nav seat with battery storage below.

Up the companionway is a T-shaped cockpit with pedestal steering and Edson teak pedestal drink holder and cockpit table. 4'6" long settees to port and stbd and a helm settee across the transom seat the crew comfortably. Deep storage below the stbd settee contains the CNG tank and much more, with further bin storage below the helm settee for lines.

Galley
The galley is aft to stbd of the salon. U-shape provides safety when cooking underway. Ample storage in 3 drawers and a louvered cabinet behind the refrigerated ice box, behind a louvered slider cabinet behind the stove, and a second louvered cabinet behind the sink. Below the sink is another louvered cabinet with access to thru-hulls and to the stainless water heater.

Hull & Deck
"White Hawk's" has had only 3 owners. Originally a dealer inventory boat, she wasn't commissioned until 1992, when she was launched on Lake Michigan. Her first owner kept her until 1997. Her second owner was older and hardly used the main sail. In the fall of '05 the current owner purchased her and trucked her to the coast of Maine. She was launched in July '06, but only daysailed once due to a health issue. Hauled in August '06, she's been covered on jackstands in the current owner's yard ever since.

The current owner trucked her to our office in April and is motivated to sell. Other than a fresh coat of bottom paint (paint provided), she's ready to go in the water.

Approximately 150 T-31s were built between 1988 and 1994, and of these only about a third had the deep keel. These boats, including "White Hawk" point to weather far better than the shoal draft models.
