Accommodations
The interior of the Eastbay 43s are finished "Herreshoff Style" with white bulkheads and teak trim finished in satin varnish. The sole is varnished teak and holly. There is ample natural light provided by 3 opening hatches and 6 polished stainless steel opening ports, all with screens. Interior lighting is excellent with numerous Cantulupi recessed lights throughout and polished chrome reading lights at each berth and at the L-settee.
Starting forward, the Forward Stateroom has the V-Berth option with teak ceilings lining the hull over and 3 lockers above the berths on each side. There are 2 drawers and 1 locker on each side below and bin stowage below the foot of the V. A filler seat is between the berths. Aft of the port berth is a large cedar lined hanging locker with shelf over while opposite to port is a bureau with 3 drawers. There is an additional locker with shelf behind the bureau. Telephone and TV antenna hook up is carefully located on top of the bureau.
Next aft to port is the Guest Stateroom featuring with over and under berths. There is a large shelf outboard over the upper berth and 2 large drawers under the lower berth. Above the lower berth are 2 stowage lockers with doors and a bookshelf with fiddle. An ample, cedar lined, hanging locker is at the fwd bulkhead and aft is a bureau with 4 drawers, there is a TV antenna hookup above the bureau.
Opposite to starboard is the Head with adjoining Stall Shower. There is ample stowage in 3 lockers with shelves and there is additional open shelving in the stall shower for shampoo etc. Vacuflush w.c., Grohe plumbing fixtures, vanity with Corian sink and counter, Tankwatch holding tank indicator.
Next to starboard is the Dining Salon with L-settee with storage above in lockers and open shelf with fiddle and below. There is a bulk-head mounted fold down table and opposite to port is a TV cabinet with tambour door. A brass Weems & Plath Clock & Barometer set provide an attractive accent.
Opposite to port is the U shaped Galley (see Galley)
Up three steps is the Helm Deck, there is additional stowage under two of the steps.

GalleyThe large U-shaped Galley provides excellent counter and stowage space. The counter tops are Bone white Corian. Stowage is in 7 lockers and 3 drawers. Standard Grand Banks external thermometers are conveniently mounted for reading Freezer/Refrigerator box temps.

Helm Deck & CockpitThe Helm Deck is spacious with ample seating for entertaining and operating the yacht. There is a large L-Settee aft and two port while opposite is a 2nd straight settee. There is stowage under both. Forward there are Pompanette seats with foot rests for the Capt. and Navigator. The helm station is to starboard and to port there is additional stowage in 2 lockers with shelves and the chart locker. Another stowage locker is aft of the straight settee. All of the cushions are of an almond tone naughahide.
ElectricalThe yacht's electrical distribution panel is at the aft end of the Dining Salon L settee. The vessel is wired for both 12VDC and 110VAC service with separate panels with breakers. 110VAC power is provided by an 8KW generator when away from the dock. For convenience when dockside the owner had the yacht wired with 2 30 amp shore power inlets, 1 to port and 2 to stbd so that the use of the heavier 50 amp cables could be avoided.

Hull & DeckVoyager has the standard teak deck in the cockpit and on the helm deck as well as having the optional classic teak side decks. Her hull is flag blue gel-coat with white boot stripe and gold cove stripe. The windshield is stainless with custom canvas. Fresh water wash down forward and aft.
