Accommodations
The interior accomodation of the C&C 41 have been designed for comfortable cruising while still providing excellent sea berths for long distance voyaging or overnight racing.
There is a large V-berth with overhead deck hatch for light and ventilation and a bureau with drawers. The oversized deck hatch is great for dealing with sail handling while going around the bouys. Next aft is a large fully enclosed head compartment. Opposite the head and to port is a large hanging locker. The main salon has a port side settee with storage behind the cushions and a pilot berth for underway sleeping or open storage. On the starboard side there is a U-shaped dinnette that converts to a double berth and a centerline mounted table with double leafs. There is storage behind the berth back and a pilot berth outboard.
The galley is to starboard in a U-shaped configuration making it a perfect working area when underway in less the favorable conditions. Opposite the galley and to port is the nav station with ample space for electronics, chart and navigation tool storage. Aft of the nav station is a double quarter berth with opening port. The interior finish is oiled teak. The varnished teak and holly cabin sole is brand new in 2002. The main salon cushions are newly covered in 1998 with a beautiful dark blue Ultrasuede. ShipShades for fixed port lights.
