Freshly barrier coated bottom, rollerfurling headstay, self-tailing primaries, and hydraulic backstay adjuster are just some of the items that make "Dove" a special J-35. Never raced, this vessel performs incredibly with equipment that makes it comfortable for cruising. Current owner purchased "Dove" from her first owner when she was only 3 years old, and she's received consistent care ever since. In the water every season except '09, "Dove" has been yard-maintained and stored every winter.

Popular with performance-oriented sailors, the J/35 has been at the head of the fleet since her introduction in 1983. The model also appeals to family cruisers because she's easy to handle with a small or inexperienced crew and provides relatively comfortable accommodations down below. Inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame in 1999, the J/35 is described as, "A boat that has earned lasting recognition by fostering new enjoyment and growth in the sport of sailing through excellent design and production ingenuity."
