Accommodations
Starting in the forward cabin is the V berth, with a settee and wash basin with hot & cold pressure water to port, and a small bureau and hanging locker to starboard. Five lockers and drawers contribute to a generous storage plan. The main salon features an L-shaped settee to port, a custom fixed teak centerline drop leaf table, and a straight settee to starboard. Generous storage is outboard, along with a built-in entertainment center (TV & DVD) to starboard. Aft and to starboard is the full sit down Nav station along with electrical distribution panel for the ship's 12 volt power & 110 volt shore power. Aft of the Nav station is the large Head with separate shower area. The L-shaped Galley is to port followed by the private aft stateroom with double berth, small settee and hanging locker.
The main salon settees, as well as the mast cover, are done in Forest Green Ultrasuede (2005). Fore & aft berth cushions are done in Driftwood tweed fabric. There are pleated window shades on all windows and screens for all opening ports and main companionway. The interior teak was specially treated to provide a lighter and more modern appearance than a standard dark teak. The sole is teak & holly varnished in a satin finish.
Galley
The L-Shaped Galley features a polished stainless steel double sink, flip-up additional counter, engine-driven Sea Frost refrigeration, and a four burner CNG stove with oven & broiler (two tanks included). Storage is abundant.
Cockpit
The Cockpit is set up for comfort, safety, and efficient sail handling. The primary winches are upgraded Lewmar #58 self tailing models. There is Edson wheel steering with the wheel and spoke corners covered in elkhide leather, complemented by a teak fold-up table and drink holder, and Ritchie Power Damp compass. For complete command of navigation and safety, the Raymarine radar/chart plotter(SL70CRC Plus with Smart Heading Sensor for overlaying radar and chart plotter images), Raymarine ST60 wind, depth and speed instruments, and autopilot control are mounted at the helm. Four cockpit lockers keep gear organized and safely below decks. Full cockpit cushions are included. The most compelling comfort feature for the cockpit during inclement weather is a full canvas enclosure, including dodger, bimini, connector, and side curtains with zippered openings with mosquito netting (2004/2006). Boarding is enhanced by a stainless steel boarding ladder with teak treads mounted on the transom, and a walk-through stern railing.
Electrical & Electronics
12 Volt DC and 110 volt AC shorepower with distribution panel with both voltage and amperage meters. Electrical system completely modernized in 2003. 320 amps of house power available plus separate Optima cranking battery, charged by a high output Balmar alternator, 3 stage regulator, and advanced battery monitoring system.
