Accommodations
2 stateroom layout with full varnished mahogany interior and a full 5/8" thick varnished teak and holly sole. Artificial light provided by reading lamps at all berths and settees and by dome lamps in the salon, head and galley areas. Natural light and ventilation is excellent with 10 opening ports with screens and 4 hatches, also with screens, there are also 2 dorades. A diesel cabin heater provides warmth on season extending cruises.
Starting forward is the Forward Stateroom with V-berth a full 6'-8" in length with filler. Below the berths there is stowage in lockers and in bin type stowage above there is stowage in an under deck shelf running fore and aft. 2 drop face lockers are underdeck at the forward bulkhead. A sliding door separates the cabin from the fore and aft passage.
Next aft to starboard is a generous hanging locker while opposite to port is the Head which is roomy for this sized vessel. There is a manual W.C. plumbed to a Y gate and holding tank, vanity with china sink and H&C pressure water, ensuite shower and good stowage.
The Maine Salon is next aft featuring ample seating on an L settee to port and straight settee to starboard. There are bookshelves and lockers above and outboard of the settees and stowage behind the seat backs. There is a drop leaf mahogany dining table on centerline with a stowage cabinet accessed from the table top.
Next aft to starboard is the L-shaped Galley featuring a new gimballed Hiller propane stove with oven, double basin stainless steel sink with pressure H&C water and manual fresh water. Large stainless steel lined icebox equipped with Coolmatic 12V holding plate refrigeration. Ample stowage and counter space.
Opposite to port is the Nav. Station with chart lockers, drawers and electrical switch panel while continuing aft there is additional stowage in multiple lockers and a small work area outboard and access to the engine space inboard.
Next aft is the Master Stateroom. The berth was refitted in 99' with a custom inner spring mattress. There is stowage below in bin type compartments and lockers while shelves run fore and aft underdeck and there is a generous hanging locker to port.

Sail & RiggingAluminum deck stepped spar, stainless steel wire rigging. In 94' the rig was modified to take a butterfly jib system, at that time a custom stainless steel sprit was added to extend the fore triangle and a chainplate was added near the stem for a storm jib (never used). To accommodate the butterfly jib system two mast mounted spinnaker/whisker poles were installed.

Hull & DeckSolid fiberglass hull with original white gel coat in very good condition, blue sheer and boot top. Decks are fiberglass with a polyvinylcell core and 1/2" teak overlay. Built to Lloyd's specifications. The teak decking is in sound condition and fastenings have been reset and new bungs installed as appropriate.

AdditionalSEVEN SEAS is on just her 3rd owner. Originally built for a Swedish owner until sold in 1994 to a German engineer who made numerous upgrades before making and extensive cruise of the Atlantic and Caribbean before selling her to her current owner in 1999. Under current ownership she has had countless upgrades (some previously covered in the listing but highlighted here.

The refit in 94-95' included the following: Selden in mast furling system, installation of a 3' bow sprit to carry a larger jib with Selden furling, installation of inner forestay to carry storm jib (never used), Tigress anchor windlass, new ground tackle, removal of all wood grab rails replaced with custom polished stainless rails, intallation of custom stianless boom gallows, installation of self steering gear, installation of new bow thruster, installation of twin spinnaker/whisker poles for butterfly jib arrangement, custom stainless radar mast, addtion of liferaft, Garmin GPS, New cabin sole, extensive rebedding of hardware and overhauling of all vessel systems.
