Accommodations
Down the steps from the helm deck is the cabin area with a V-berth forward and storage beneath. Cleanly finished in white epoxy paint with Sunbrella canvas cushions for the berth which also has a filler section. Overhead Bomar tinted opening hatch allows natural lighting and ventilation. The cabin has a Dometic A/C or reverse-cycle heat, this unit was upgraded and has a digital thermostat. The galley area is starboard with a microwave oven, sink/faucet, filtered drinking water tap, Keurig coffeemaker, and Fusion stereo system with CD and Sirius XM Sat radio. There is also a Ram-Mic Vhf radio here and a brass Weems and Plath barometer. Port side has the Raritan electric head (ElectroScan system 2012) and a separate hanging locker / storage area. The electrical panel is located on the aft wall. White powder coated safety railings assist your egress. The two-piece fiberglass cabin door and folding hatch can be removed from their hinges if desired for easier cabin access.
Deck Equipment
The helm deck layout is a center console with bench seating to either side. The benches have white vinyl cushions that are stored inside the cabin and are in excellent condition. The benches have varnished teak trim edging to compliment the bright teak cap rail around the helm deck and the teak helm pod. On the forward side of the helm pod is a handy fold up table which when in the lowered position is secure and tucked away. The bridge deck has a track-to-track EZ2CY enclosure that is "tailor fit" and in excellent condition. Enclosure has a zip-open vent panel on the top of the center panel.
Beneath the bench seating is storage and a refrigerated drink box. Forward of the helm console is a deck hatch allowing drop down access to the pump area and engine room. For more complete access to the engine compartment the bridge deck just aft of the helm rises on an electric ram lift with switch in the cockpit under the coverboard. This hatch is used primarily to provide better access during maintenance periods, all daily checks are easily conducted by entering engine compartment from the forward hatch. The forward hatch also has an electro-magnetic locking mechanism.
The helm pod is classic custom boat, varnished teak with chrome single levers (Glendinning controls) and a chrome and glass bezel instrument panel with analog gauges and a chrome helm wheel. There is a Murray Bros. teak ladderback helm seat with teak foot rest and a white standing pad. Just forward of the helm in the instrument box is a SmartCraft digital engine display, indicator/selector panel for the Glendinning controls, trim tab controls, switches for running/anchor/courtesy lighting etc. A Ritchie magnetic compass is just above and this box has a removable clear plexiglass storage cover.
The marlin tower was built by High Seas Fabrication in Stuart and incorporates a hardtop that has hanging rod storage beneath, LED lighting, powder-coated safety grab rails, and flush-mounted pancake-style teaser reels. The aft truss giving additional support to the tower is also a great overhead grabrail, plus the hardtop extends aft enough to offer the helmsman some additional shelter. Running lights are molded into the hardtop and a 4-man MK4 Crewsaver emergency lift raft (new 2016, re-cert 5/2019) is mounted above in an aluminum rack with hydro-static release mechanism. There is also an ACR 406Mhz EPIRB on the hardtop with auto deploy. The tower helm has a padded bellyband & bench seat with a backrest on the buggy top supports. The top is fiberglass and has 2 molded spreader lights directed to the cockpit.
Full walkaround decks without any steps - fisherman's ideal platform. Cockpit scuppers drain overboard.
?
Foredeck has an top opening anchor locker with secured Danforth-style anchor and rode (600' with 30' chain lead). Two bow cleats with quarter line chocks and a center chock forward for anchoring. Remarks
DAWN PATROL has stayed in the Northeast for the past several years and has been indoor stored during the winters. It is the second 33' L&H custom spec'd by the original owner, current owner for past six years is moving up. This boat is ideally rigged for Northeast fishing in addition to her design that is extremely suitable for light tackle Florida fishing styles. In 2012 the boat had a cosmetic detail period prior to seasonal launch that sharpened it up to near perfection. In 2014 there were all new electronics added and more recently a FLIR camera. These are remarkably practical fishing boats and this one in particular is in excellent shape, turn-key in all respects. New Onan generator in sound shield (2017). Just completed November 2020 a full Cummins service of all coolers and fluids. A choice fishing machine.
Exclusions
Tools, fishing tackle, handheld electronics, electronic chart chips, and personal effects.
