The Beneteau First 51 from the late 1980's era is considered an excellent boat for racing and cruising.�  This 1989 First series yacht was designed by German Frers and built in Europe.�  They are some of the best boats built by Beneteau.�  Considered comparable to the Swans of that era but at half the cost. The boats are featured prominently in Ferenc Mate's acclaimed book of that time "The World's Best Boats".
This is an great example of a blue water yacht, at home both racing and cruising.�  Critical Path is well appointed and ready to go.�  Fully equipped for adventure in local waters or ports afar. This Beneteau First 51, built in 1989 by Beneteau- France, and was designed by German Frers.�  This design features a round bilged hull, shoal draft wing keel, balanced rudder, Perkins 85hp diesel engine, keel stepped three spreader mast, fore stay and back stay rod rigging with wire shrouds, main sail, Genoa and spinnaker, ten Lewmar winches, 3 cabins including large owners cabin in the aft, a separate crew cabin, dual air conditioning, extensive navigational equipment. Fantastic sailing capacities, and a well laid-out interior.
