      The Mainship 390 Trawler blends today's technology with years of experience in crafting thousands of trawlers. Inside the spacious cabin, for example, is a lower helm station that's complete with full instrumentation and a windshield equipped with wipers and washers. The salon features warm teak highlighted by designer fabrics, a color television and VCR, a stereo, and opening windows with screens. Deck access is made easy for shorthanded cruising with a starboard helm sliding door. There is also a large screened sliding door to the cockpit.The 390 Trawler's galley is equipped for cruising or entertaining with a range, an oven, a microwave, a full-size refrigerator, an oversize sink, abundant cabinets and Corian countertops

     . The large master stateroom has a center island bed, cedar-lined hanging lockers, an opening portlight and hatch, and again more storage. For guests, a second stateroom features twin berths along with a hanging locker, storage, an opening hatch and a portlight. And finally, the easy cleaning, molded fiberglass head offers a built-in vanity, a shower, an electric marine toilet, an opening hatch, a portlight and a mirror.

      The power to travel is provided by a 300 HP Caterpillar diesel with freshwater cooling, an engine alarm system and a standard fire extinguisher system. To make docking easier, a bow thruster is standard. On the flybridge there is a large area for entertaining or lounging, seating for more than six, and a drop-leaf table. The center helm has great visibility, full instrumentation and plenty of room for electronics (note the radar mast). This deck is reached by a wide, molded stairway with a full handrail. Access forward to the anchor is protected by a high bulwark and a walk-around deck. In the cockpit there is more than ample storage with deep wells and a lazarette.

The light and airy all-electric galley is located on the forward port side of the main salon opposite the lower helm station. It features matching teak-faced appliances, concealed dish storage, abundant cabinets and drawers, and CORIAN countertops.

As you enter from the aft deck through sliding glass doors, the spacious salon features warm teak highlighted with designer fabrics, a leather sofawith storage beneath to starboard, and a folding salon table. To port lies an entertainment center with built in storage cabinets, bar with bottle storage, and a flat screen TV with satellite antenna system.

Located forward to port is the all-electric galley. Opposite to starboard is a lower helm with full instrumentation and a sliding door to access the starboard side deck when shorthanded cruising. In inclement weather, this lower helm has full instrumentation and provides excellent visibility with wraparound windows and windshield wipers w/ washers.

Located three steps down is the cabin deck with the Master Stateroom forward which features a centerline double berth, dual hanging lockers, storage lockers, drawer storage, ventilation hatch, opening ports, and direct access to the head. The guest stateroom, located to port has twin lower berths, a hanging/storage locker, ventilation hatch, and an opening port.

The enclosed head, which is located to starboard, features a vanity with sink, electric toilet, large stall shower, ventilation hatch, and an opening port.
The entire cabin is bright and airy, and well appointed. She is decorated in a nautical flair, offers an abundance of storage, and is exceptionally clean.

    "Water Music" is a very well maintained and priced to be the next Mainship 390 sold! The Mainship 390 is a stylish and moderately priced US-built trawler with classic lines and a good turn of speed. Unlike the typical full displacement trawler, the 390 is built on a faster semi-displacement hull with flat aft sections, a long keel and a skeg-mounted rudder, which protects the running gear in the event of grounding.

        Visibility from both helms are excellent, a deck door from the lower helm provides easy access to the foredeck via wide, well protected side decks and the fly bridge is easily accessed via molded stairs not a ladder. In addition, the 390 is a big boat inside thanks to her 14-foot-plus beam (and 6' 5+ headroom throughout most of the interior!) with a floor plan that manages to include two comfortable staterooms as well as a separate stall shower in the head.
