A good-looking sport cruiser, the Larson 280 Cabrio is a modern and well-appointed express with a moderate price tag to go with her roomy accommodations. She's built on a unique modified-V hull bottom with an amidships "step" that divides the hull into fore and aft sections-what Larson calls a Duo DeltaConic hull. The mid-cabin layout of the 280 Cabrio includes double berths in both sleeping areas, a good-size galley, and a curved dinette. With a wide ten-foot beam, there's a surprising amount of room below, and the Formica cabinetry and oak trim presents an upscale impression. Above deck, the cockpit is arranged with a L-shaped lounge and a double-wide helm. Additional features include a tilt wheel, decent sidedecks, a power-assist engine hatch, and walk-thru transom.
