SALON

Down three steps you are in the salon.  The interior has a Teak veneer with a teak and holly veneer sole.  To the starboard side is the salon sofa that converts in a sleeper.  The owners bed is forward with a privacy curtain.  On the port side is a closet, the galley with fridge freezer, microwave and pull out draws.  The head is also on the port side,and aft with a solid privacy door.  In the head is a Vacu flush head, sink and medicine cabinet.

To the port side is the optional  L-shape seating with storage beneath it and a  forward removable jump seat.  The captain sits at a comfortable helm seat with storage under it with an aft cockpit wet bar.  The helm is a fiberglass tilt away helm with access to the back of the gauges and the electronics.  To enter the salon just slide the companion way door.  The upper cockpit is protected by an aluminum aircraft style windshield with saftey glass.  The forward seats are covered by the bimini top that also has the side clear glass curtains and a foward clear glass curtain. 

The 31 has a swim platform with conceald swim laddder.  On the transom is the transom gate on the starboard side.  The 31 has a 12' self bailing cockpit with surrounding cockpit bolsters pads along with the optional in floor storage bins that can be removed and gives acces the the bildge and rudder post.  On the transom is the optional aft fold down transom seat.  On the gunwals are rod holders in the cockpit are the shorepower hook up, cockpit shower and city water hook up.  Behind the helm seat facing into the cockpit is the wet bar and storage.

The access to the engine room is through the upper cockpit, just hit a botton and the upper cockpit sole lifts.  There is also an inspection hatch between the helm seat and the upper cockpit port side seats. In the engine room are a pair of 454 XL fresh water cooled crusaders motors a westerbeke generator along with the fire supression system and hot water heater.
