This Tartan Ten has had only two owners and is a well maintained boat. Jet Star sails like a big boat but handles like a small boat. She is fractional rigged and therefore the head sails are smaller for ease of tacking. The main is larger and can be handled easily. This was one of the last Tartan Tens built and she was built using E-glass and vinylester resin, therefore no blistering problems. She is barrier coated with 2000E VC-17 bottom paint. The first season for her was 1989. The Yanmar diesel gives you peace of mind when motoring.

Several years ago a professional yard removed the hull liner. All interior bulkhead tabbing was inspected at that time for any and all potential structural problems and no issues were found. There are reported to be no compression problems with the mast. This Ten has the original iso gel coat that still buffs out great.
