The Pilot 34 is ideal for coastal cruising; it has the amount of room for family, friends and on-water activities. With a very large cockpit, the Pilot 34 is perfect for entertaining or fishing. Seating arrangements are simple yet functional; two can sit comfortably at the helm and two on the port side of the helm. Two bench seats just behind the helm create seating for another 4, 5 or even 6 adults. Down below you have a GREAT galley and a head to port and a dinette that sits 4 comfortably to starboard. The dinette drops down to sleep 2 adults. Forward is the Master Stateroom with a Queen sized berths with PLENTY of storage.

So don’t be shy about inviting guests aboard, you have the room.

I personally own a Mainship Pilot and Golf'n Dolf'n is an EXCELLENT example of these fine boats. She has been professionally maintained and updated over the years by her VERY KNOWLEGABLE SECOND OWNERS and will make her new owners a very nice cruising vessel for the Keys or Bahamas.

She is a Down east-style cruiser with a comfortable interior with a NEW 2014 exterior upholstery in the cockpit and the much preferred Custom Lippencott Top, with full enclosure and welded Stainless Steel Frame with NEW 2013/2014 Stratoglass curtains.

"Golf'n Dolf'n" is built on a solid fiberglass hull, the Pilot is a semi-displacement design with a sharp entry and long, prop-protecting keel. Unique to this vessel is the custom installed "splash rails" for a much dryer ride.  The interior features teak & holly cabin sole and wood accents with a single stateroom in the bow, galley to port with, large u shaped dinette to starboard with seating for four and enclosed head with a Vac-u-Flush toilet to port just aft of the galley. She also has a Bow Thruster and the Yanmar 350 Diesel Engine with only 1035 hours to cruise you at 14 knots burning 7-8 GPH at 2800 RPM!

The Mainship Pilot 34 has the seakeeping abilities of the lobsters boats it has descended from. It has a steep plumb bow and a gentle rise of the sheer - both of these qualities give the Pilot 34 the ability to cut through head seas, while the rounded forward hull sections provide a soft entry. Flatter sections aft increase lift for speed and economy, and the deep full keel with a complete sand shoe gives stability and protection from grounding. In the cockpit, the Pilot 34 has double-wide helm and companion seats flanking the large hydraulically-assisted engine access hatch. The side lounges can double as berths with the removable backrests. A tilt-up console means easy access to electronics and wiring, and there is a built-in insulated cooler box as well as a standard transom door. Below, the cabin has a large head complete with Corian covered vanity, lots of storage, a shower, and even a VacuFlush head. The teak-trimmed galley offers plenty of storage, ample Corian counter space, a microwave, a dual cooktop, and a refrigerator and freezer. There is even a slide-out pantry for convenience. The large dinette easily converts to a double berth and includes plenty of storage. A color TV - VCR is standard and is easily viewed from the private forward stateroom, galley or dinette on its swivel system. Forward in the stateroom, hanging lockers and drawers will swallow gear for the weekend or a month. Extra-long innerspring berths guarantee a great night's sleep.
