Manufacturer Provided DescriptionThe Hunter 44 Deck Salon features spacious accommodations generally seen only on much larger vessels. The hull sports a unique ?bow hollow? forward, creating a longer waterline for increased lift and speed. The underbody aft also has a stern reflect for a flatter exit, resulting in enhanced stability and reduced wake characteristics. The Hunter 44 Deck Salon offers an extremely comfortable living space, featuring swing-out companionway doors to the interior, upholstered salon settees and a high-gloss dinette table big enough to serve the whole crew. A stainless steel refrigerator/freezer highlights the galley. A master stateroom with queen berth, forward guest cabin with V-berth and two separate heads round out this inviting interior.
AccommodationsThe deck salon has an extremely light and interior and is well ventilated with six opening deck hatches and the companionway hatch. She is beautifully appointed with teak and holly sole and ultra leather upholstery for durability.
Forward is the guest cabin featuring a large queen-sized V-berth and an enclosed head with separate shower to port, and a hanging locker and storage shelves to starboard. Next aft to port are a U-shaped settee and dinette that can convert to a double berth. A settee/berth and the forward-facing nav station are to starboard.
To port of the companionway is a very functional U-shaped galley with vertical pantry and ample storage. Aft of the nav station to starboard and adjacent to the entrance to the aft master cabin is another enclosed head with separate shower. The aft cabin features hanging lockers, storage shelves and a complete office desk with swivel seat to starboard, a queen-sized berth with eco foam topper and more storage outboard to port. This is an excellent interior layout for either living aboard or for long-term cruising.
