Vessel Walkthrough
The flybridge has a 3/4 enclosure with track-to-track upgraded Strataglass and Viking molded hardtop with radar mast. There are two captain's Stidd chairs at the helm and large seating area to accommodate guests on the bridge.
The ladder down to the cockpit is located to the port side of the flybridge aft with wide steps and heavy railing for safety. The cockpit features the huge Viking trademark working area for fishing or entertaining a small crowd. There is a full tackle station with drawer stowage, cockpit wash sink, deep well freezer, engine room access, and storage locker. All of these cabinets feature flush doors, which are designed and finished to be free from any sharp contours and all surfaces are easy to clean and maintain. The engine room allows for ease of access around the power plants, and all surfaces are white Awlgrip painted for easy cleaning and sterile appearance.
Moving forward around the 39' Rupp outriggers are high mounted, powder-coated, grab rails. These are located over the frameless windows on each side of the house for assurance, but the wide walk-around access to the forward deck allows for easy negotiation. Full bow rails forward skirt the massive foredeck, which is capable of easily carrying a davit and tender if installed. The stern features a transom door and transom fish box. The cockpit deck sole has a large fish box with freezer plates and live well to port.
The entrance to the cabin is to the starboard side in the cockpit. Upon entry to this vessel, one will immediately notice Viking Yacht's attention to interior detail. Teak flat-paneled doors are tightly fitted and finished in a high-gloss polymer clear coat. The finish is consistent throughout, as is the wood grain as the result of a unique process where every teak panel is a cross-section of hundreds of boards bonded together. This not only keeps the texture of the grain consistent; but also eliminates the possibility of any warp or color variance. All working counter surfaces have been upgraded to Corian tops, and the galley floor features an Amtico Cherry sole. The heads also have an upgraded special tile. Heavy pile carpeting covers the remainder of sole surfaces throughout. The salon of this beautiful 55' was upgraded with the galley counter overhanging bull nose. There are two bar stools at this location, perfect for conversation and dining for two.
Layout features the power panel up at cabin entrance to starboard with entertainment console. Adjacent is a large L-shaped settee and ottoman. The low-profile galley is up, and is located to port forward. The dinette is to starboard. There is a 42" flat Plasma Television incased over the dinette forward.
The large Master Stateroom is located down three steps to port with its own ensuite head, full cedar lined hanging locker, abundant drawer and under-berth stowage, and full lighted vanity. The Master also features an entertainment console forward the queen island berth, which houses a TV. The companionway has a laundry center with over-under washer and dryer units.
The Day/Crew head and Crew Stateroom is located forward down three steps to starboard. There is an over-under bunk arrangement in this stateroom with a hanging locker and ensuite head which shares an additional access door to the companionway.
Moving forward through the companionway is the VIP Guest Stateroom located in the vee. The stateroom features drawer storage, a large hanging locker, and access to the sizable ensuite head with full shower and lighted vanity. There is also a TV in this room
