This classic Marine Trader, Double Cabin Trawler with a galley down floor plan is a great boat for cruising or as a live aboard.
Powered by a Ford Lehman 135 hp engine, which is a dependable and fuel efficient engine.
The roomy salon cabin and lower helm station to starboard are on deck level with sliding doors both port and starboard for easy access. The floor of the salon has (3) separate hatches for easy and roomy access to the large engine compartment. The salon area includes an L-shaped settee with dining table to starboard and serving counter with storage cabinet below to port.
Forward and down from the salon is the U-shaped galley to port with a refrigerator/freezer, and stove/oven, stainless steel double sink and lots of storage. Opposite the galley is the guest head with vanity and toilet.
The forward guest cabin features a double berth offset to port and settee to starboard, drawers for storage, shelf, and hanging locker. The chain locker occupies the forepeak.
Aft and down from salon is the master cabin with a large center line queen berth, large hanging locker and numerous drawers/cabinets to port and starboard. The aft cockpit can be easily accessed from the master cabin. The head has a vanity, toilet and tub-shower combination.
When boarding from her port or starboard sides, one will notice her teak toe rails outlining her wide walk around deck with sturdy teak hand rails running all the way forward and aft from the bow pulpit to the transom deck.
Aft on deck, is the cockpit area. Great for fishing, and handling the stern lines while docking. Three steps up from the trunk cabin is the flybridge deck with captain's chair at the controls, surrounded by a large seating area. The flybridge is very large with back to back seating and has a full enclosure for inclement weather.
This trawler was well designed for comfortable, reliable and economical cruising.
