34' Catalina 34 MkII Cruisers

Accommodations

The Catalina 34 offers big boat room and accommodations in a bright, airy interior.  Forward is the large v-berth with a filler piece, hanging locker and a locker which has been converted to convenient shelving.  Aft of the main bulkhead is the spacious salon featuring a dining table to starboard with a surrounding settee which converts to a double berth.  There is a straight settee to port.  Lots of storage below the settees and above them in shelves and louvered door lockers.  Blue fabric upholstery throughout in excellent condition.  The nav station is aft to port with the electrical panel, chart plotter/GPS and VHF radio.  The spacious head compartment is aft to port with sink with vanity, marine head, shower with hot and cold pressure water, and storage.   The L-shaped galley is aft to starboard featuring laminate countertops with stainless steel double sink with hot and cold pressure water, stainless steel two burner propane stove with oven. Lots of storage in cabinets, below countertops and overhead rack.  12 volt refrigeration. The large aft berth is athwartships and entered from the starboard side featuring a hanging locker and storage.  Lots of ventilation throughout provided by ports in the cabin sides and lots of overhead hatches.  Accordian shades on the ports.  Teak and holly cabin sole throughout.  

Electronics

Raymarine digital color radar, new in 2014, mounted on a pole at the stern.  Display at the helm contained in a NAVPOD;  Depthsounder and knot/log meter at helm;  Autohelm 4000 autopilot ;  Raymarine wind, new in 2016.  Garmin GPS/plotter at the nav station;  Icom VHF radio with mast mounted antenna at the nav station.  

Electrical

12 volt DC and 110 volt AC electrical systems with a comprehensive electrical panel at the nav station.  Switches and circuit breakers.  4 Deep Cycle Golf Cart batteries form the house bank with about 500 amp hours.  There is also a group 24 battery.  Battery condition meter at the nav area.  Heavy Duty Balmar alternator on the engine.   Battery selector switch.  110 volt battery charger.  Shorepower inlet with cord;  110volt outlets throughout the cabin.  Xantrex DC to AC inverter.

Sails and Rigging

All new low stretch running rigging.  North mainsail, 2014, with lazyjacks, very little use.

North 130 % genoa, 2014, very little use, on a Schaeffer furler, 

Red, white, and blue cruising spinnaker with ATN sleeve, very little use

Original mainsail with Dutchman and original furling 135% genoa.

Aluminum mast stepped on deck, aluminum boom, stainless steel standing rigging, Schaeffer jib furler with new bearings.  

Hull and deck

White gelcoated hull and deck with contrasting grey non-skid on weather decks, cockpit and coachroof.  Dark blue gelcoated boot stripe and taped cove stripe.  Shoe-box hull to deck joint;  Sunbrella dark blue cockpit dodger with a bimini and connector piece all on stainless steel hoops;  stainless steel bow and stern rails with integral folding swim/boarding ladder, stainless steel lifeline stanchions with new vinyl coated lifelines with gates.  Leather covered destroyer wheel;  Teak cockpit table with leaves and drinkholder, custom made outboard motor bracket.  Plow anchor with chain and rode. Small solar panel on deck for trickle charging.  Line cutter installed on prop shaft.
