Introduction
The Back Cove 29 has been, for years, the mainstay of the company since its introduction back in 2004. This was the first of many successful models built by the RocklandMaine factory. Back Coves sistership company is Sabre Yachts which has been building boats for years with a proud heritage of building the Down East lobster boat with style and integrity. Their reputation and now Back Cove,s have made the Down East lobster boat a work of art. As true with models above and below she has a traditional spoon bow that enters the water with ease and a gently sloped stern that makes her profile noticeable from a distance. Her proportions are perfect and she definitely turns heads in any harbor she enters! She runs on a deep-Vee hull for a soft comfortable ride underway and equipped with the upgraded Volvo D6-310hp engine she will cruise in the mid 20s.
The cockpit has plenty of room to lounge around on a beautiful day. One step up to the helm deck and you will find seating on a settee for your guests with both a helm and companion seat for navigating your way to that perfect destination. The visability at the helm is fine with all your electronics right at your fingertips. The windows give you a great sight line and a feeling of openness. The helm deck opens for complete access to the engine compartment and its accessories.
Just a few steps down to the salon and galley and youll feel like you are in a Sabre. Sabre actually makes the wood treatments and ships them to Back Cove for installation. The V-Berth forward is very comfortable to sleep in and converts back to a dining table with ease to seat 2-4 people. The galley is to port and has all the basics you need for a fun time on the water. There is a compact refridgerator, a microwave, a cooktop, and a sink. The head in this boat rivals boats far larger. It is a fully enclosed head with shower on the starboard side.
The workmanship in this boat is very nice and the wood treatments are just enough to show her off. The exterior wood is minimal for ease of maintenance and her line beautiful. This particular boat has limited hours and is ready to be sold.
She is rack stored and shows very well.
