Hans Christian yachts are hand built, rugged world cruisers, known for their kindly sea keeping ability. The Hans Christian 38 MK II is also noted  as a traditionally styled yacht that sails with remarkable performance.  Not to be confused with the HC 38 Traditional, the MK II carries more sail on a taller rig, a wider beam, a better sail area to displacement ratio and increased volume of tankage. The full keel with a balanced rudder helps to maintain a good course over ground and the cutter rig offers a multitude of sail configurations. It's not surprising that this is a boat that is chosen by many serious blue water sailors. The interior is made by highly skilled craftsmen using only the finest materials. Nearly all of the interior is solid Burmese Teak with teak and holly soles..
