In 1988 Sabre Yachts introduced The MK II version of their 38. It was the model

that made the other manufacturers redo their mid size range to include a private

double berth quarter cabin. The MK II had the accommodations and feel on the

water of a 40 footer. Sabre offered three keel version (a deep fin drawing 6'6"; a

wing keel drawing 4'11" and a keel centerboard version drawing 4'3" )

"Lighten Up" is the centerboard version, which is the best choice for the

Chesapeake, Bahamas and Keys. This Sabre has been upgraded over the last 6 years

and is offered for sale due to the owners purchase of a 2nd boat.
