The Marquis 500 Sport Yacht is a recent creation from the American Marquis yacht yard. This is a very special vessel.  Every last detail has been scrutinized to reflect Marquis Yacht's outstanding reputation for obsessive attention to design detail and unmatched yacht construction quality.

The Marquis 500 Sport Yacht can be operated from either the flybridge or the fully equipped salon helm station.  Power is supplied by triple Volvo Penta diesel engines coupled and IPS 600 drives -one of the most innovative and efficient engine/drive systems available. The result is superb slow speed torque; thrilling top-end speed and exceptional joy stick controlled slow speed maneuverability. And, while powerful – this engine and drive combination is quieter and more efficient than traditional shaft driven propulsion systems.

The features incorporated into this yacht reflect forward thinking from the Marquis Yachts design team. The low profile sport bridge is for people who love fresh sea air and warm sunshine. There is no shortage of lounge space. Choose the privacy of the triple-wide foredeck lounge or the contoured bridge lounge or the spacious sun pad aft of the bridge.

With the opening of the aft bulkhead doors, galley, salon, cockpit and swim platform are integrated into a single level social area. For additional cockpit space the transom is moved aft with a simple touch of a button. Awe inspiring interior appointments include yacht finish woodwork custom crafted from a number of exotic hardwoods.

The prestige associated with the Marquis brand has been earned over time and is undisputed by the world’s most knowledgeable yachtsmen. The new Marquis 500 Sport Yacht reflects the knowledge of a highly refined owner that recognizes world class style and fine yacht quality.

Keeping with Marquis tradition, the Marquis 500 Sport Bridge is the creation of yacht-design studio Nuvolari-Lenard of Venice, Italy. Her bold lines, megayachtstyle interior, and impressive triple-IPS power offer something truly different from most domestic motoryachts her size. Built on a semi-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom and moderate beam, perhaps the most innovative feature of the 500 Sport Bridge is what Marquis calls a “sliding transom” that glides aft with a push of a button to create additional cockpit space.

The well-appointed interior features dark Zebrano wood, black granite counters, and cherry flooring throughout. Below, the three-stateroom, two head layout includes a forward master suite with en- suite head, VIP queen to port, and twin single berths in the second guest cabin.

Note that the galley, salon, cockpit, and swim platform are all on the sale level, a feature quickly appreciated when the aft salon doors are opened to unite the areas. An optional hydraulic swim platform makes lowering the tender in and out of the water an easy task. Triple Volvo Penta IPS 600's (3 X 435hp) - with joystick controls - cruise the Marquis 500 Sport Bridge at over 30 knots with a top end in the high 30 knot range.
