Overall Accommodations
Starting forward, there is an excellent full-sized molded head with shower unit, large hatch located above for ventilation throughout the forward part of the boat. Moving aft into the Master Stateroom which spans the full-width of the yacht, a queen size bed is located to starboard. Excellent headroom. To port is a vanity unit with ample drawer and cabinet storage, a seating area and a large hanging locker aft. Continuing aft is the luxurious Main Cabin with full-sized Galley to port with recessed area for the chef to allow easy passage in and out. AbundantCorian work surfaces and storage, an over-sized refrigerator with freezer, along with separate freezer located below, with top opener and refrigerator at eye level with side opening door for easy access. Opposite to starboard is a U-shaped settee and dining area with additional twin seat inboard, providing comfortable seating for seven. Additionally, the dining table can be easily removed and stowed. Additional stowage below seats. Aft of the dinette and set outboard of the companionway and engine area is a full-sized Chart Table and Navigation area with navigator's seat facing forward; storage outboard and below. Opposite to port and outboard of the engine space is another large head with stall shower. Aft of the head and Nav Station are two identical Guest Staterooms, each with standing and changing areas forward of the beds and full-sized hanging lockers outboard. Each is supplied with two opening side ports for ventilation. Outstanding and ergonomic cockpit and swim platform design with an innovative archway above to house the mainsheet traveler and cockpit stereo speakers. The steering console is extremely modern with VHF built in for easy communication. The hemsman seat is easily removed to provide excellent access to the swim platform, with its built-in hot and cold shower and convenient twin lockers for storage of water toys.

RemarksSouthern Cross has recently undergone sime significant upgrades, as well as a $10,000 price reduction, making her one of the most competitively-priced late model Hunter 43's on the market! The interior cushions were all recovered with new upholstery in 2002. The mast was removed and professionally inspected, custom reinforcement added at mast base and all shrouds entry points; toggles were replaced as necessary. All new Harkin pulley blocks for running riging, new cockpit cushions and custom pushpit rails, seats and backs; outboard motor davit/lift added in June 99.
