This is one of the least expensive cockpit motor yachts in her class.The silverton 442 is a well-styled family cruiser with a spacious two-stateroom floorplan and a fairly large cockpit.She was built on a solid fiberglass,
modified-V hull with a fully intergrated swim platform.Belowdecks,the galley and dinette are down a few steps from the salon level,and there are double berths in both staterooms/and stall showers in both heads.The berth in the aft stateroom is fitted against the forward bulkhead and faces aft toward a full-height sliding glass door that opens to the cockpit.This door admits plenty of light into the aft stateroom,and makes cockpit access especially convenient.Weather boards,molded seating,and a wet bar were standard on the aft deck.Topside,the helm console is on the centerline and a clear panel in the hardtop provides visibility aft.Standard gas engines will cruise at 14 Knots and reach 22-23 Knots top.
