The mainship 30 Pilot is a truly affordable Downeast-style cruiser whose solid construction,good traditonal looks,and practical layout make her a stand-out in a field of overpriced express boats her size.Built on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with a long prop-protecting keel,moderate beam,and a nearly plumb bow,the pilot is suited to a variety of uses.Her large cockpit makes her a competent fish or dive platform,and her economical operation and well arranged cabin will appeal to weekend cruisers.The cabin comes with a convertible dinette forward ,a good sized head compartment,a compact Galley,and an attractive teak and holly sole.On deck the bi-level cockpit is arranged with plenty of guest seating and storage.Engine access,via a hatch in the bridgedeck sole is excellent.Standard power for the Mainship 30 Pilot is a single 170 hp. Yanmar diesel which delivers a cruising speed of 14 Knots (16-17 Knots top) An optional 230 hp. Yanmar increases the cruising speed to about 17 Knots and a top speed of 19-20 Knots.
